Halloween

We did a ton of fun Halloween activities tonight with our little octopus.

First we had to carve the little pumpkin Papa grew for us. (The big pumpkin was carved by the church kids and loved by the kids at the park too before it met its end today as it collapsed after being carved for a week.)We stopped a few times during the carving to give Mommy kisses and to smile for Daddy.

Then we went Trick-or-Treating at the park and to Walt and Heather's house. Evy really loved taking all the candy out of the big basket and occasionally putting it into some kids bags.

Halloween was a lot of fun.

When we got home the octopus thought she would make a few calls to her friends the shark and the skeleton.
And it was finally dark enough to really try out the pumpkin.

Well, and then these pictures we took last weekend as we were raking leaves to fill our spider bags for Halloween decorations.

I hope everyone had a good and safe Halloween. Love you all.

Picture catch up...

We have been doing fun stuff and taking pictures, but we have not been blogging. Sorry. To make up for it I will post for your viewing pleasure a hodgepodge of pumpkins, bucket hats and biodegradable packing peanuts.

First off pumpkins. We went to Apple Jack's Orchard in Delano a few weekends ago. Evy was a big fan of the apples. She carried one almost the entire time. She never bit it. We were so proud.

She did help us pick though!

And then there were the pumpkins! Really big pumpkins. Even bigger than the one Papa grew for us. Evy was also interested in the slabs of Styrofoam underneath the pumpkins.

This pumpkin is bigger than I am!

I am outta here...

I also promised bucket on the head baby. Well here she is.

She put it here herself and then crawled all over the house with it on her head. Every time it fell off she laughed really hard.

Doesn't she look like a real toddler in this one. My baby isn't so little anymore.

Finally, we ordered some toys from fisher price. The Mayflower play set and a real nativity set she can play with. Of course she was thrilled by the box and the packing peanuts. Here is a squealing video.

Love you all. I am guessing the next time will be Halloween pictures!
